Responsible for the safe loading of finished products onto river vessels and bulk haulage trucks and the unloading of raw materials vessels from the river.
Responsible for own personal safety and of that of people working in the area
Ensure safe start-up, running and shutdown of plant and machinery
Ensure product throughput and quality is maintained to required levels
Maintain high standards of cleanliness following GMP guidelines in the production areas
Perform small maintenance related jobs and liaise with maintenance department
Reporting to shift superintendent, logistic superintendent and the production management
Accurately maintain process records
Liaise with other process departments to ensure the whole process is running smoothly
Health and Safety, food safety and environmental compliance
Relay shift 6am to 2pm and 2pm to 10pm.
Your Profile:
GCSE level of education
Good written and verbal communication
Good level of computer skills
Good mathematical skills
Self-motivated with a positive attitude
Performance and results orientated
Ability to work as part of a team
Good problem solving skills
