Commercial Sales Specialist
ADM Animal Nutrition & Wet Corn Co-products
This is an exempt level position.

ADM Animal Nutrition, a division of Archer Daniels Midland Company, is a leading manufacturing, nutrition and ingredient business offering a wide range of innovative products for the animal nutrition market. We are currently seeking a proven sales leader to work with Corn Co-product on maximizing pricing and moving WCGF products from the Marshal, MN plant, while leveraging existing customer base to sell Animal Nutrition products. Additional responsibilities for this position include:
  • Develop strategic prospecting plan to sell to sustainable producers and dealers.
  • Regularly contact customers and prospects, develop and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Achieve revenue, tonnage, market share, and product mix targets as directed for assigned listings and sales groups.
  • Provide sound nutritional and management consultation in an effort to enhance bottom line profitability.
  • Assist assigned dealers in development and execution of a marketing strategy to grow market share.

Requirements for this position include:
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Business (MBA preferred) and a minimum of 2 years of animal feed experience.
  • Must have a demonstrated track record of achieving results and the ability to work with and communicate well across functions and influence key stakeholders to support business priorities.
  • An ability to prioritize tasks in order to maximize profit potential and exercise sound decision making.
  • A demonstrated change agent with strong credibility and a proven ability to adapt and work in a fast-paced, dynamic and uncertain business environment.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships with management, vendors, customers and co-workers.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Oracle experience highly preferred).
  • Have the ability to travel.
