Job Description: Seeking Herd Manager to be responsible for overall health, productivity and welfare of a 100-150 head Holstein dairy herd. Duties include:

Herd Health
Dairy Production
Animal Welfare
Farm Operations
Continuous Improvement
Leadership & Team Development

Duties include performance management, scheduling support and day-to-day oversight of the team and herd.Will have 5 direct reports. Requires 3+ years of hands-on experience in dairy operations for progressive dairy. Must be skilled in herd health, reproduction (AI), nutrition and milk production systems. Prefer certification in Artificial Insemination and Dairy Herd Management. Must be able to operate tractors, skid steers and other farm equipment. Requires clean driving record.

$70,000 - $80,000 plus health, dental, vision, 401K.
