Description: This $1,000 scholarship will be awarded to an Incoming Freshman at Purdue University. 1st preference will be given to students from Decatur County who are majoring in Agricultural Economics, Agronomy, Botany and Plant Pathology, Entomology, Food Science, Youth Development and Ag Education, or Horticulture and Landscape Architecture; 2nd preference to students from Jackson County with the same majors; 3rd preference to students from Decatur County with any major within the College of Agriculture; 4th preference to students from Jackson County with any major within the College of Agriculture; and 5th preference to any other College of Agriculture students with a cumulative GPA of 2.8.
