Key Account Manager - Dairy

• This specialist will carry out sales & marketing plans with the assigned product lines.
• The position will focus on larger dairies and involves training of other sales professionals and dealers in both sales and technical aspects of the equipment.
• A person with current relationships and the ability to continue to build rapport within large dairy operations is ideal to meet the company objective of positive promotion of products and services.
• A "team" approach will be key in carrying out activities such as organized tours and demonstrations; attendance of farm shows; communications with engineers and contractors regarding design, performance, and installation; and activity reporting to proper departments.
Requirements to be a successful candidate for this Key Account Manager position:
Preference will be given to candidates currently selling dairy equipment, reproduction products, animal health products, or animal nutrition products to dairy producers. We will consider candidates living in or willing to live in the areas of the Dakotas, Minnesota, or Wisconsin. Heavy travel is expected at 3+ nights a week on the road.
Compensation: A base salary in the $75,000 to $90,000 range, DOE, is the target. Incentive could be up to 60% of base for a top performer.

Desired Location: The Key Account Manager will be located in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, or Wisconsin.
