Dairy Feed Nutrition Sales Rep

A well-respected European nutrition company is looking for a self-motivated individual to lead and expand the current dairy focus feed ingredient sales within the Central New York region. The Dairy Feed Nutrition Sales Representative position is a long-term commitment into the U.S. market space with a lineup of strong products to be launched in the U.S. dairy industry over the upcoming years. This is Cold Calling and New Business Development! Qualifications:

To be considered for the Dairy Territory Sales Rep position you should possess 5+ years of outside sales experience with dairy feed or feed additives, directly with customers and through dealer service centers, have ration balancing experience and love problem solving on dairy farms. A strong overall dairy production knowledge in the areas of nutrition, feed ingredients, commodities, and forages and feed bunk management would be a real plus. This position will be responsible for increasing sales volume through new business development by aggressively seeking new customers and expanding sales with existing customer relationships. We need an outgoing, hard working person who has top-notch communication and sales skills, good technical nutrition depth, a strong desire to succeed, and the ability to travel every day in the region, visiting farms, working with dairy nutrition consultants, etc. The ideal candidate will have a Masters degree in Animal Science and five successful years of sales within the livestock nutrition or supplies/pharma industry.
