Plant Health Australia (PHA) is the lead national coordinating body for plant biosecurity in Australia. As an impartial, not-for-profit company, PHA works in partnership with industry, governments, researchers and others to facilitate and manage improvements in biosecurity policy and practice across Australia's plant industries, and to build capacity to respond to plant pest emergencies.

ABOUT THE ROLE
Subject to guidance from the General Manager, Emergency Preparedness and Response, the position has primary responsibility for managing plant biosecurity and emergency management training projects that enhance the capability and capacity of PHA Members and related stakeholders to implement general biosecurity and emergency response arrangements.
The successful applicant will have a graduate qualification in emergency management, science, agriculture, or equivalent, good communication and technical skills, and desirably, experience in the development and delivery of training workshops, and knowledge of issues relevant to plant biosecurity and plant pest management.
