Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for stacking of products, loading trucks and receiving incoming materials.
The successful candidate will be working on days and/or rotating shift.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate the palletizer and stretch wrapper effectively and efficiently. Stacks pallets of products and ensure that required tags and lot codes are applied. Organize and stage the products according to customer orders Unload incoming materials and store them in the designated location. Perform all shipping and forklift operation tasks effectively and in a safe manner. Comply with all related Standard Operating Procedures and complete all required reports according to BRC/HACCP/Food Safety program. Comply with the cross training as instructed by the Supervisor to develop staffing flexibility within the packing and warehouse department. The incumbent may also be assigned to perform other warehouse/packing tasks which includes but not limited to: tote packing, bulk/railcar loading, packing, terminal/wheat receiving and other related operation.
High School Diploma. Must have Forklift Operator certification with minimum of one year experience with electric forklifts. Experience in the food manufacturing environment is preferred. Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written. Ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision. Ability to coordinate, organize, plan, report or document and make decisions effectively. Ability to perform multi-tasking. Basic knowledge of computer application.
