Reporting to the Area Manager West and South regions, the Sales Manager, Proprietary Products is responsible for driving sales of Loveland’s crop protection, adjuvant, plant nutrition, and seed treatment product lines to the Nutrien Ag Solutions retail Snake River division.
Develop and execute short and long term sales strategies for the assigned geography that aligns with the business strategies and objectives of LPI to ensure attainment of company sales revenue and profitability targetsTrain, educate and guide the Nutrien Ag Solutions sales team on the entire LPI product line (crop protection, adjuvant, plant nutrition, and seed treatments)Work closely with Nutrien Ag Solutions Regional and Divisional management to ensure successful execution of LPI marketing plans and other strategic initiative in cooperation with overall Nutrien Ag Solutions' directionIn conjunction with LPI Marketing, provide accurate, updated field sales forecastBuild and maintain internal and external communications lines and relationships
Strong sales ability with a proven track record of successStrong interpersonal skills, outstanding communication capabilities, and the ability to influence others at all organizational levelsAbility to work effectively with other groups in the organization to achieve a common goalExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent time management skills
BSc. Degree in Ag related field3-5 years’ experience in sales or marketing in Ag related areaWell-rounded knowledge of agricultural products and practicesHighly self-motivatedThe successful candidate lives within the described geography, with 50-60% travel required within the geographyThe highest ethical standards and sense of accountability
