Compensation is an important factor to all employees, and is always changing. This season the changes have been unique and in many ways extremely challenging. Whether you have scrapped your compensation strategy or stayed the course with annual adjustments, this should help.

Compensation is always changing and so much has changed over the recent months. But one thing that doesn’t change is how important compensation truly is, pandemic or not. We’ve heard from many of you since March, actively seeking salary data to make the best, most informed decisions for your organizations. This season of change has certainly been unique for all of us and in many ways been extremely challenging. Whether you have scrapped your compensation strategy altogether or stayed the course with annual adjustments, this should help.

1. A new change for 2020 was the release of our upgraded platform. We are particularly excited as our new system provides additional reporting capabilities to better serve your needs. Have you logged into the new system yet? We trust you have been able to utilize the data already. If not, please let us know how we can help.It is also worth noting, Rachael Powell will be stepping away for maternity leave, if you have special reporting request please let us know as soon as possible.

2. Another new item, is our first satisfaction survey. While we work closely with many of you, it would be helpful for us to know what you think of our services and how we might improve. We want to ensure we are meeting our customers’ needs and supporting your efforts.

3. Finally, AgCareers.com continuously supports our industry by collecting and reporting pertinent data. One such recent initiative was to utilize our annual Ag HR Review™ to include a special COVID impact questionnaire. As a result, a special report was created to provide the industry with a hyper focus on the most critical components facing agribusinesses during COVID-19. The topics most frequently discussed within our communications and connects included compensation practices related to salary administration for both 2020 and 2021. We hope that this information assists your organization in coping with the changing workplace environment.
