Works with supervision in providing direction to employees in assigned work areas. Monitors recording charts and machinery in all areas of the line and adjusting settings as specified by a supervisor, while working with operators to ensure continuity of the process. Maintaining desired attributes of finished product through maximum utilization of the raw material.
What you’ll be doing.
Promote and adhere to McCain’s safety culture by following all company safety work rules and regulations.
Estimate raw product in receiving to maximize resource utilization.
Control line flows and blend rates in collaboration with supervisors and operators, ensuring consistent quality and efficiency.
Communicate proactively with operators regarding product cut changes and provide timely updates on production adjustments.
Monitor production charts and processing equipment, making authorized adjustments to maintain optimal performance.
Support sanitation efforts by providing necessary chemicals and monitoring cleanliness in designated areas.
Collect and report end-of-shift data for supervisory review.
Conduct regular walk-throughs to identify and address issues, shutting down lines and notifying mechanics as needed.
Encourage and reinforce good manufacturing practices among team members.
Provide operators with change information and ensure proper use of safety equipment.
Support the Process Supervisor by covering days off as required.
Evaluate and test the performance of production trainees at 30, 60, and 90-day intervals, helping to bring out the best in our people.
Participate in required training and meetings, demonstrating a commitment to continuous improvement.
Communicate any production or quality issues to supervisors and relevant personnel promptly.
Uphold quality standards by understanding and applying quality process concepts and techniques.
Keep work areas clean and organized, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Build and promote a strong teamwork environment within your group, the factory, and the broader company.
Engage actively in continuous improvement initiatives, reflecting our commitment to innovation and excellence.
What you’ll need to be successful.
Hold a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write routine reports and speak effectively before groups.

Compensation Package: $28.74-$28.74 USD hourly + bonus eligibility
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education/training, and other organizational needs.
