The Illinois Corn Growers Association announces a new leadership team for the 2025–2026 term following its annual meeting and board reorganization. Mark Bunselmeyer is elected as President and continues serving as the district 7 Director, representing farmers in several central Illinois counties.
He has been part of the ICGA board since 2019 and most recently served as Vice President. His new role strengthens the organization’s commitment to advocacy and support for corn growers.
Joining him in executive roles are Don Guinnip as Vice President, Matt Shane as Secretary, and Michael Houston as Treasurer. Together, they guide the association’s priorities in policy, education, and statewide farmer engagement.
Leadership extends to key committees that support ICGA programs. The Exports Committee is led by Shane Gray as Chairman and Keith Sanders as Vice Chairman, focusing on export growth and market development.
The Industrial Committee is guided by Sarah Hastings as Chair and Ellen Rahn as Vice Chair, emphasizing innovation and industrial uses for corn. The Grassroots Committee is led by Chris Gould as Chairman and Dan Parker as Vice Chairman, working to strengthen farmer involvement and advocacy efforts across the state.
Several directors continue their service, including Chris Gould, Cliff Lane, Mark Bunselmeyer, and Shane Gray. New representation includes Bryan Tomm, elected to serve District 13, and Chad Dillenberger, appointed to represent District 14. At-Large Directors Clint Gorden and Evan Marr have been re-elected to represent corn farmers statewide.
ICGA continues to serve as a strong voice for corn farmers in Springfield and Washington, D.C., focusing on policy work, market expansion, education, and member support. The newly elected leadership team works to help farmers operate successfully through effective advocacy and service programs. More details are available on the ICGA website.
