The Kansas Grain and Feed Association awarded scholarships to 19 students, encouraging education, leadership, and future careers in agriculture while supporting the growth of the industry.

The Kansas Grain and Feed Association (KGFA) has announced the recipients of its 2026–27 scholarship program. The organization awarded nearly $30,000 to 19 graduating high school students from different parts of Kansas. These scholarships aim to support students as they continue their education in agriculture, business, and related fields.

The scholarship program received more than 250 applications this year. A selection committee carefully reviewed each application based on academic performance, leadership qualities, participation in community activities, and geographic diversity. This process ensured that deserving and well-rounded students were selected.

“One of the greatest strengths of our industry is its commitment to investing in people,” said KGFA President and CEO Ron Seeber. “These students represent the future of Kansas agriculture, business and rural communities. Thanks to the support of our members, KGFA is able to provide meaningful assistance as they take the next step in their educational journey.”

Each year, KGFA provides 18 general scholarships worth $1,500 each. In addition, one student receives the Dub and Inez Johnson Memorial Scholarship valued at $500. These awards provide financial support to students planning to attend universities, community colleges, and technical institutions.
