Farm Credit Mid America has appointed Chase Harris as the new Vice President of Agricultural Lending for the east central region of Indiana. He will operate from the Bluffton office and serve customers that include large agricultural producers and agribusiness businesses across the region.
Harris brings a decade of experience with the organization, having worked in a variety of sales roles over the past ten years. Most recently, he served as the Regional Vice President for the crop insurance team in northern Indiana. His experience has provided him with a strong knowledge of agricultural finance and customer needs.
He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications and Professional Selling from Ball State University. His educational background and industry experience position him to support farmers and businesses in making informed financial decisions.
“Chase truly cares about helping agriculture and rural communities thrive and has the knowledge and experience to make a meaningful impact on our current and future customers,” said Gary Coleman, regional vice president of agricultural lending in Indiana.
Beyond his professional role, Harris is actively involved in his local community. He works on wildlife habitat projects on his farm and contributes to several local organizations. He serves as a board member for the Wells County Agricultural Scholarship Committee, the East Central Indiana Quail Forever Chapter and the Go for the Flag Fundraiser. He is also a volunteer youth basketball coach.
“One opportunity I am most excited for is partnering with operations to position them for success and ensure an exceptional experience for our customers – not just for today, but for the future as well,” said Harris.
“I look forward to being a trusted partner who can support our team in making strategic decisions that drive long-term viability and sustainable growth and success for our customers,” said Harris.
