Job Description: About the roles

We are currently seeking two talented Tax professionals to join our team at Elders on a permanent, full-time basis:

Senior Tax Accountant
Tax Accountant

Both roles form part of the Elders Tax team and play a key role in ensuring the timely, accurate, and efficient delivery of all tax compliance and reporting obligations across the Group.

The team is collaborative, values-driven, and committed to supporting Elders' national operations through sound tax governance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

Senior Tax Accountant - Responsibilities:

Lead preparation of tax accounting and statutory reporting
Prepare and review income tax, GST, and FBT returns
Advise internal stakeholders on tax matters
Support ad hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Monitor legislative changes and ensure compliance

Tax Accountant - Responsibilities:

Assist with tax accounting and statutory reporting
Prepare and lodge BAS, IAS, FBT, and income tax returns
Support the Senior Tax Accountant and wider Tax team
Contribute to process improvements and team projects

About you

Senior Tax Accountant:

CA/CPA qualified with strong corporate or professional services experience
Expertise in income tax, GST, FBT, and statutory reporting
Strong communication, attention to detail, problem solving skills and process improvement mindset
Familiarity with CCH Integrator or similar software advantageous

Tax Accountant:

Accounting/Finance degree (working towards CA/CPA preferred)
Experience in tax, understanding core tax concepts
Eager to learn, collaborative, problem solving skills and detail-focused
