A leading international designer and manufacturer of high-quality dairy equipment is seeking a Regional Sales Representative for the Midwest US territory. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, the Regional Sales Representative is responsible for continuing to grow the dealer network and to supporting the existing network in the United States. This is a remote based position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prospecting and converting new dealers in the territory
- Act as key contact for all customers in the territory
- Train commercially/technically and support the dealer network
- Organize training as needed with customers
- Promote the companies innovations via research institutions, universities and other regional opportunities
- Participate actively in trade shows, open houses and other events
- Develop technical training, commercial training and marketing strategies for the distribution network
- Commercial introduction of new products
- Service to large accounts
- Monthly activity reports
- Follow-up on payment as needed
DESIRED PROFILE:
- 3+ years’ experience in sales/territory management
- Dairy industry experience
- Willingness to travel at least 50%
- Valid Passport and driver’s license. Ability to travel outside of the US
- Spanish or French fluency a plus
