Position Objectives
Ensure efficient organization and execution of seed treatment activities, including demo trials, scale-up tests, and campaign preparations for downstream and upstream market.
Maintain high-quality standards in seed loading, sampling, and shipment processes to guarantee accurate COA (Certificate of Analysis).
Support customer engagement through relationship management, complaint resolution, and technical guidance.
Facilitate knowledge transfer and capability building via workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder visits.
Drive continuous improvement in operational processes and reporting for all treatment and testing activities.
Support activities at CSAT laboratory for recipes development and further applications
Key Responsibilities
Demo Trials & Campaign Management
Organize and oversee demo trial treatments for CP France and distributors.
Coordinate start-up and preparation activities for campaigns, ensuring adherence to application guidelines and reporting standards.
Seed Loading & Quality Assurance
Manage sampling, shipment to laboratories, and COA documentation.
Ensure compliance with quality protocols during seed loading and mobile treatments.
Scale-Up Tests - Industrial and Mobile
Plan and monitor scale-up tests for new customers, providing guidance and detailed reports.
Customer Interaction
Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
Address product-related complaints promptly and effectively.
Support customer and stakeholder visits at CSAT.
Training & Development
Conduct workshops and training sessions for customers and internal field teams related to Stewardship guidances, seed applied technologies, mobile machines, CSAT services etc.
Recipe Development and application
Conduct tests at CSAT laboratory for development of recipes which will be used for the applications
Critical Training, Knowledge, Skills and Experiences
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields are required. A Master of Science in a related field is preferred.
Technical Expertise:
Strong technical knowledge in seeds, seed treatment technologies, and machinery/equipment engineering. Proven experience in seed treatment applications and equipment representation, with at least three years in the field.
Skills & Competencies:
Excellent communication and public speaking skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Strong decision-making, negotiation, and customer focus.
Demonstrated ability to lead change and gain support without formal authority.
Ability to interact and collaborate across internal and external teams, including Marketing, Sales, Research, Technical Services, Production, and Seed Production.
Proactive mindset with strong teamwork, planning, organization, flexibility, and analytical skills.
Experience in data analysis and interpretation, applying scientific principles to drive best practices.
Skilled in using Microsoft Office and other relevant software tools.
Capable of team-based decision-making and developing innovative, creative solutions.
Ability for laboratory activies for supporting the local CSAT Lab team during recipe development and application
Operational Requirements:
Valid driver's license required; ability to obtain a commercial pesticide application license.
Physical mobility to service seed treatment equipment.
Willingness and availability to travel approximately 40 overnights per year.
