The Supply Chain and Warehouse Manager will play a key role in optimizing our supply chain by ensuring the efficient distribution of agrochemical products to meet customer demand. This role requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to coordinate between various teams, manage inventory levels, and create robust distribution plans. The Distribution Resource Planner will focus on ensuring timely deliveries, cost-effective distribution, and adherence to regulatory requirements, contributing to the company's overall operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Maintain optimal inventory levels of Crop Protection products across warehouses, ensuring availability to meet customer demand.
- Commercial Coordination: Collaborate with demand, sales, marketing, and production teams to meet the forecasted demand and align distribution resources accordingly.
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee the transportation and distribution of products, ensuring on-time delivery while optimizing shipping costs and minimizing delays.
- Distribution Network Optimization: Analyze and improve distribution routes, methods, and processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Supplier Coordination: Work closely with suppliers and third-party logistics providers to ensure a seamless supply chain process.
- Data Analysis: Use data analytics tools to monitor performance metrics, track product movement, and identify potential areas for process improvement.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all distribution activities comply with safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies, especially concerning the handling of agrochemical products.
- Problem Solving: Address any disruptions or inefficiencies in the supply chain, implementing swift corrective actions.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on distribution performance, inventory levels, and other relevant KPIs for senior management.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all distribution activities comply with local and international regulations, especially those related to agrochemical products.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements in distribution planning, logistics, and resource management.
- Warehouse Management: Provide administrative support for CP warehouse management. Ensure local Right to Operate compliances & provide support during internal & external audits. Also provide administrative support for resource management at warehouse.
Requirements:
Education
- BS/BA/BCom degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Logistics, Business, Technical field
Experiences
- 4-5 years of experience in distribution planning, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably within the agrochemical or related industries.
- Experience with ERP systems, Supply chain Systems
- Strong knowledge in MRP II / IBP / ERP technology and Supply Chain systems
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Knowledge:
- Understanding of agrochemical products and distribution challenges is a plus.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to the transportation and storage of chemicals.
