Corteva Agriscience, is seeking an experienced professional as Country Regulatory Manager for the Crop Protection organization, in Munich.

The Role
As Country Regulatory Manager you will join a small team of colleagues dedicated to develop and register new and existing plant protection products. Strong interaction with external regulatory bodies and internally with colleagues from Regulatory & Product Stewardship and other functions of the organisation (i.e. Integrated Field Sciences, Customer Service, Marketing and Sales) both nationally and internationally are expected.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Depending of your qualifications and earlier experience key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring successful product authorizations by preparation and on-time submission of high quality registration dossiers to the regulatory authorities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland
  • Taking full responsibility for all product authorizations related to his/her portfolio and liaise with specialists across the globe
  • Coordinating the administrative post-registration activities of his/her product portfolio, respective changes of formulations and origin of manufacture
  • Ensuring compliant labelling as well as respective documentation in internal and external databases
  • Actively participating in new project developments (local and European) in direct interaction with national and international marketing and biology partners as well as chemistry, toxicology and environmental experts
  • Fostering of trusted partnerships with external regulatory bodies and various stakeholders to understand, interpret and communicate key external developments impacting the current and future regulatory landscape
  • Participating in working groups to meet market post-registration needs and to ensure product stewardship by providing regulatory expertise
  • Respective communication of key regulatory information with commercial, food chain and supply chain departments
  • Partnering with external affairs colleagues to facilitate the retention and introduction of new technologies that meet famer and consumer needs
  • Maintain a strong knowledge of European and national legislation and activities which could impact national existing or future approvals of plant protection products / biocides.



  • Appropriate degree/diploma with specialization in agriculture, biology, chemistry or an equivalent discipline with related experience in natural or agricultural sciences.
  • Experience in registration of plant protection products is desirable, equally important is an enthusiasm for regulatory policy.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, efficient and well-organized with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage a diverse workload
  • Capability to formalize and manage transversal projects
  • Self-motivation to identify and fulfill customer and stakeholder needs
  • Agility, proactivity and dynamism are essential in a growing international company
  • Fluency in German and English (spoken and written) is required
