Grain Elevator Manager or Operator Position

Co-op Regionale is looking for a motivated Grain Elevator Operator or Grain Elevator Manager to join our team! This is a hands-on, dynamic opportunity for someone eager to grow a fulfilling career in agriculture and play a key role in our grain operations.

As a Grain Elevator Operator or Manager, you’ll be responsible for the safe, efficient operation of grain handling equipment, maintaining high standards for grain storage and quality, and overseeing grain origination and merchandising. This position demands a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and keen attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain grain elevator equipment, including grain dryers, to ensure safe and efficient grain handling and storage
• Receive, sample, weigh, and grade grain deliveries
• Oversee and participate in grain origination, building and sustaining strong relationships with local producers
• Lead and support grain merchandising activities—including logistics, documentation, and market analysis
• Load and unload trucks and railcars
• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards throughout the facility
• In the spring, support crop inputs operations such as receiving, blending, and delivering seed, fertilizer, and crop protection products

Qualifications:

• Experience in grain elevator operations or a related agricultural role is an asset
• Experience with grain origination and merchandising is preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness to work flexible hours during peak seasons
• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• DZ license is considered an asset

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week with in-season extended hours
