A Day in the Life:

This role is critical for ensuring the safe and efficient day-to-day operation of an assigned production shift (Crush, Refinery, Milling, or Packaging), thereby supporting the Production Operations Manager in monitoring and improving overall plant productivity."

Position Details: Work Schedule: 12-hour rotating shift (48-hour week/36-hour week).

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Safety & Environmental Stewardship: Champion a robust safety culture, ensuring all shift operations and personnel strictly adhere to safety and environmental regulations. This includes actively working towards zero incidents, supporting Process Safety Management programs, and collaborating with the Safety/Environmental Manager to ensure compliance across the assigned shift.
  • Production Supervision & Efficiency Optimization: Directly oversee and optimize all assigned shift production activities (e.g., crush, refinery, milling, packaging, warehouse, boiler house, elevator) to ensure operations run at peak efficiency and meet production targets. This includes troubleshooting operational issues promptly and participating in production meetings to align shift activities with overall plant goals.
  • Quality Assurance & Food Safety Compliance: Maintain and enhance the highest standards of product quality and food safety. Ensure the assigned shift is fully compliant with all sanitation requirements, actively contribute to monthly sanitation inspections, implement corrective actions, and foster a strong food safety culture that meets customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Performance Tracking & Reporting: Accurately track, report, and analyze shift productivity improvements and Key Performance Indicators (KPRs). Review and approve daily reports, using data to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with operational goals.
  • Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence: Drive and actively support continuous improvement initiatives and act as a change agent within the assigned shift. Develop and implement Operations Excellence Plans to consistently meet and exceed safety, quality, and production goals.
  • Team Leadership & Personnel Management: Provide effective supervision, guidance, and support to assigned shift personnel. This includes participating in personnel investigations, recommending corrective actions, and fostering a team environment that embodies Bunge's Core Values (Act as One Team, Drive for Excellence, Do What's Right).
  • Operational Planning & Strategic Input: Contribute to broader operational planning by providing essential input to the Production Operations Manager and Plant Manager, particularly for annual shutdowns and long-term facility improvements.


Skills/Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, chemical engineering or related field or equivalent progressive experience of 3+ years in soybean crushing, oil refining, milling, oil packaging operations, or related and applicable activities in support of industrial operations is required
  • Proficiency with basic computer skills, including Lotus Notes, Microsoft Word and other technical software packages, as needed
  • Ability to work odd hours, weekends and rotating shift schedule required


The compensation range for this position is $73,520.00 - $82,710.00. In addition to the regular compensation, this role is also eligible for an annual incentive bonus.
