A Day in the Life

Responsible for moving edible oil from railcars/trucks to storage tanks per the production schedule. Individual should have a working knowledge of production/rail equipment and safety requirements in a production/manufacturing/rail environment.

Position Details:

Monday - Friday, 2nd shift: (3p-11:30p) with occasional overtime as needed

Hourly pay rate - $25.88

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Verify tank car or truck load numbers to ensure car placement accuracy based on written or verbal instructions
  • Sample trucks and railcars for lab analysis
  • Operate railroad tank car or truck unloading equipment, including pumps and hoses
  • Monitor product movement to and from storage tanks, coordinating activities with other workers
  • Coordinate rail switch with the railroad
  • Record operating data such as products and quantities pumped, gauge readings, and operating times, manually or using computers
  • Work from height and fall protection required
  • Actively participate in the company's food safety and quality programs
  • Additional duties as requested or assigned



Minimum Qualifications:
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to read and understand English with good verbal communication
  • Must be a team player, collaborative, and results oriented with good problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work outside regardless of weather conditions required
  • Ability to work 2nd or 3rd shift required
  • Attention to detail is required
