We are looking for a Specialist Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) Quality Assurance (QA) Auditor to join our Agricultural Solutions team based in Research Triangle Park, NC.

As a Specialist GLP QA Auditor, you will ensure compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency's Good Laboratory Practice (EPA GLP) standards for regulatory studies. Failure to comply with the EPA GLP regulatory requirements can result in delays or canceled product registration for BASF. This role is located in Research Triangle Park, NC, and features a hybrid working arrangement, combining remote work and onsite presence each week, depending on workload and other factors.

Assuring that studies, personnel, and the BASF testing facility comply with the EPA Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) GLP requirements by independently planning, conducting, and reporting study-based and testing facility-based inspections.
Proactively identifying and resolving compliance challenges, considering the implications of proposed solutions.
Supporting onsite inspections by regulatory agencies.
Independently inspecting contract facilities to assess compliance with EPA FIFRA GLP standards, recognizing deviations from the promulgated GLP standards as well as the magnitude of these deviations.
If you...
Possess a BS in chemistry, biotechnology, life sciences, or a related field of study with 6+ years of relevant laboratory experience, or an advanced degree in the same fields with 4+ years of relevant laboratory experience.
Hold a thorough knowledge and understanding of EPA FIFRA GLP regulations, strongly preferred. Knowledge and understanding of Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) GLP guidelines and/or Food and Drug Administration (FDA) GLP regulations may also be considered.
Exhibit advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office) and proficiency in relevant databases and software.
Are detail-oriented with strong organizational skills focused on completing task-oriented procedures.
Demonstrate effective and proactive communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written in English, as well as the ability to work under time pressure.
Are able to travel 10% (US and Canada).
