We are looking for a Production Day Supervisor to join our Agricultural Solutions team in Beaumont,TX.

The Production Day Supervisor, reporting to the Production Execution Manager, supports all FFP production activity, working with all shift production supervisors and technicians to ensure safe, reliable and efficient day-to-day operation of the FFP area. The Day Supervisor will provide consistency amongst the shift teams to complete a broad range of day-to-day production responsibilities. This person will be a visible participant in the coordination of all operations activities within the FFP area in coordination with Operations, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Projects, Reliability, Technology, etc.

During your shift as a Production Day Supervisor, you will

  • Providing at-plant support on a 9/80 or 4/10 work schedule to ensure operational effectiveness and employee well-being.
  • Ensuring consistent and accountable operations across shifts by effectively liaising with service groups and contractors to meet unit expectations.
  • Coordinating and communicating comprehensive production plans to stakeholders, while actively monitoring daily operational activities and resolving resource management conflicts as necessary.
  • Assisting with the onboarding and training of new staff and technicians, helping to ensure procedural consistency and accountability across shift teams regarding equipment operations.
  • Managing the processes of bulk loading, shipping, raw material unloading, and waste management, while overseeing schedules, shipping documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with Operations Engineers, Logistics, and EHS personnel to monitor production performance, focusing on quality metrics and waste generation reduction initiatives.
  • Actively participating in incident investigations and follow-up actions, while coordinating acceptance of new installations and engaging in process hazard analyses (PHAs) and quality non-conformance processes.
  • Reviewing daily operator and supervisor production reports, inspecting equipment operation, and preparing safe work permits to facilitate maintenance activities safely and effectively.


If you have...

  • High School Diploma or GED or Technical degree preferred.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in Operations of a Chemical Plant and Plant Operations
  • Technical knowledge with strong communication and organizational skills is needed to coordinate activities to produce quality chemicals in a safe and cost-effective manner.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are required to interface with all levels of the organization, including contractors and vendors.
  • Strong unit operation coaching skills and a continuous improvement mindset are required to help improve production team performance and understanding of the chemical plant operation
  • Proficiency with ASPEN, MS office suite, and SAP
