Complete all work inconformance with Company and Department ISO 9001 policies, procedures, and workinstructions.
Responsible forcommercial activity on assigned projects, including assurance of proper andthorough review and execution of customer contract documents, creation andmaintenance of internal project schedules to meet customer expectations, andon-going review of project status against established project costs.
Initiate and maintainpoint of contact responsibility with external customers to facilitate projectactivity, successful achievement of milestones, and delivery of products andservices to customer satisfaction.
Works with contractadministration staff to create, maintain, and improve as necessary, tools toverify all contracts are in conformance to corporate and company policies andprocedures.
Works with all relativedepartments to establish work in progress look-ahead schedule that includes,but is not limited to, engineering shop drawing time, anticipated authorityreview and approval time, procurement lead time, and general fabricationduration to meet customer requirements.
Creates reports toprovide real-time status of all assigned projects to Senior Staff.
Represent Company incustomer led project meetings as required.
Must be able to relatejob performance to ISO objectives.
College degree from anaccredited two (2) year college or University, or higher in Civil/Structural orConstruction Management.
Minimum of 5 years'experience in managing construction projects with demonstrated increase inresponsibilities.
Background inconstruction environment with emphasis on commercial or bridge construction,contract document review, and change order management and processing.
Background in leadingstructured teams with demonstrated strong communication skills among internalstaff, Contractors, Owners, Engineers, Architects, and third party vendors.
Working knowledge ofISO quality management systems (9001) considered a plus.
Working knowledge andability to use computer software, including but not limited to, wordprocessing, spreadsheet, and project scheduling software.
