Human Resources Manager - Columbus, NE ADM Human Resources This is an exempt level position.
Position Summary: The HR Manager will coordinate local efforts, leading a comprehensive Human Resource function. This position is integral to the plant and provides support to leadership and employees while leading talent management and development, performance management, recruiting, training, coaching and other employee and labor relations issues. Job Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain successful working relationships with leadership team in order to influence and provide effective HR processes, advice and support. Provide proactive consultation and direction to leadership in areas of employee/labor relations, performance management, training and development, and overall organizational effectiveness
Organize and participate in selection and hiring process. Interview and screen applicants, provide behavioral interview training, recruit prospective employees, and coordinate searches.
Ensure consistent application of ADM policies, procedures, and practices through training, coaching, one-on-one communication and policy interpretation. Observe and promote adherence to policies, regulations and standards.
Primary contact for employees and managers to answer inquiries and provide general employee information including: benefits, attendance, performance reviews/evaluations and terminations.
Represent leadership in investigating, answering and settling any HR related matters. Represent leadership in the analysis of employee misconduct and recommend appropriate disciplinary action where appropriate.
BA/BS in Business, Human Resources or related field is required
5-7 years' of professional Human Resources experience
Ability to create momentum, think strategically and foster change
Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations
Additional facility support as needed
Excellent interpersonal and written skills; ability to effectively build relationships with plant leadership
Experience in successfully resolving employee relations issues, and creating/maintaining a positive employee relations Relocation assistance is available with this position.
