Each year as part of the Renewables segment The Andersons refines corn into millions of gallons of ethanol a low-cost clean-burning high-octane renewable fuel product for refiners fuel blenders and convenienceÂstores.

In addition to ethanol these facilities collectively produce E-85 feed products and corn oil which is key to the renewable dieselÂindustry.

We are seeking aÂGrain Elevator Worker to join our Grain Logistics team on 2nd shift. This is a 3:00pm - 11:00pm schedule.ÂÂ2nd shift schedule assignment receives a $1.00 shift differential premium.

Position Overview

This position is responsible for performing grain operations activities in the areas of inspection and general operations at our Greenville OH Ethanol Plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate grain receiving equipment computer controlled from a heated and air conditioned space.
• Provide customer service to drivers unloading corn picking up dried distillers or loading out ethanol.
• Operate various types of mobile equipment including locomotive large wheel loaders and personnel manlifts.
• Perform general housekeeping which may include elevator and equipment inspections training procedures and improvement projects.
• A small part of job duties may included grain inspection in a comfortable work environment.
• Perform general housekeeping activities.

What is expected of you and others at this level

• Minimal job-related experience required.
• Work is prescribed and completed with supervisory support.
• Duties are clearly defined and methods and tasks are described in detail.

Minimum Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver license.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.

Physical Requirements and Working Environment

• Work is performed in a 24x7 Ethanol production facility.
• While this position is considered an outside working environment most all of the work stations equipment control rooms and mobile equipment include heat and air conditioning.
• This facility is well maintained in a clean and safe manner. The Andersons Inc. is dedicated to serving their customers communities Âemployees and shareholders well.
