Chemical Lead and Agronomy Sales
Position overview;
Spring Creek Ag is an independent retail seed business in western Barnes, eastern Stutsman and northern Lamoure counties of North Dakota. Newly created role in growing retail seed business to develop the chemical business with customer base. Lots of autonomy to develop the chemical business for cross sell opportunities to seed customers.
Job Functions
- Provide value to customers helping maximize chemical spend with industry bundle programs
- Be the chemical expert on the sales team
- Be accountable for the chemical business metrics; sales, margin, receivables, inventory, etc.
- Develop a two year plan for chemical business with growth and margin targets
- Develop process flows for inventory management, invoicing, customer financing, accounts receivables and payable.
Job Requirements
- Two years of retail chemical sales experience, seed experience a plus.
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- Willingness to put in hours needed during the busy season
- Crop scouting a plus
- Valid drivers license with good driving record
- Successful track record of influencing customer behavior to increase sales
