- 5+ years of experience in multiple types of welding
- Other training preferred: Experience Fabrication, Repair, and or design in a safe manor during process of repair, alteration, or design
- Ability to work independently without supervision, but also work as part of a team
- Need ambition, work ethic, and desire for production agriculture
- Strong communications and record keeping skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a Farm Weld/Fabrication Technician for a large, diversified farm in Washington. Employer is seeking an individual who is interested in welding diversity and enjoys working on large equipment of all types to join their professional team. Need the ability to perform and multitask a variety of welding skills to be used in repair as well as fabrication of specialized equipment used on the farm. One may be welding aluminum in the morning and move to irrigation repairs by noon, and then back to a fabrication project or repair in the shop that afternoon. Pay hourly and pay OT for hours over 40. Average has been around 2200-2500 hours per year. Pay range will be $25 - $32 depending on your background, experience, and looking at stability and references if needed. Excellent opportunity for all levels of welding and are looking for individuals to grow your experience and overall skill set. This is a large family operation that has a strong team to keep things running, but need to add some select individuals that want to come and grow with them. They have an excellent shop, service trucks, and the right equipment to complete the task whether it is large or small.
