- Maintenance and mechanical skills, Arc welding a plus
- Experience with building/fixing fence
- Experience handling/moving cattle
- Horse riding experience a plus, ranch horses provided
- Hard worker, self-motivated, dependable, honest, multi-tasker, can work independently and with others, good communication skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Ranch Assistant for this North Dakota ranch producer. This person will report to the owner. Having knowledge of hay farm operations is desirable, as well. Person will assist in duties such as general repairs, maintenance, cleaning of grounds, buildings, roads and equipment, fixing/building fence, monitoring/moving cattle (with horses or ATVs), and other projects as assigned. Must have knowledge of safety policies and procedures regarding chemicals, equipment/machinery. Must work well independently as well as with others, be flexible, and willing to work some long days, some weekends, some holidays, and available periodically for on-call emergencies. Excellent communication skills are needed. Very good opportunity.
