JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a large dairy operation located in Saudi Arabia who are searching for a Nutritionist. Responsibilities for this position are to formulate and update all rations for livestock as required.

DUTIES, AUTHORITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES (Please note that this list is not to be regarded as inclusive

- Liaise daily with the Section Head (Feeding and Cleaning) on all matters pertaining to nutrition, feeding, and stocks. Liaise with unit staff regularly for any concern over rations and cattle conditions.
- Visually inspect all imported commodities for their conformity to Company's specifications with Section Head (Feeding and Cleaning).
- Specify and update regularly all specifications for commodities used in Company's rations.
- Visit a minimum of 2 units per week and arrange this visit with the unit supervisor.
- Develop yearly budget forecast for all commodities. Also, this job shall monitor feed budgets versus actual performance.
- Set out a sampling procedure for all commodities, so rations can be updated from the sample analysis. This action is to be coordinated with theSection Head (Feeding and Cleaning).
- Supply the Feeding and Cleaning Section with weekly and monthly commodity usage
- Conduct Research and Development (R&D) on new products and services pertaining to feeds.
- Monitor laboratory regularly and use external laboratory for reference.
- Perform other marginal duties which may be assigned by the immediate supervisor.
