QUALIFICATIONS:

- Planting through harvest experience preferred
- Need to be a good equipment operator
- Experience with Precision Technology preferred
- Prefer experience with tractor/trailer-hauling own farm products
- Welding, mechanical ability
- Prefer experience with later model farm equipment
- MUST be a team player
- Prefer experienced hands-on maintenance person
- Required to know maintenance and general repairs
- Really prefer person who is mechanically inclined
- Experience ordering parts and maintaining inventory of parts and supplies a plus

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Farm/Maintenance Assistant for this Nebraska crop producer. Need experienced, equipment operator who ideally can do all things on the farm, starting with planting preparations, planting and all phases up through harvest. Would like to find good person who's mechanically inclined who has experience in diesel and gas engine repair and preventative maintenance. Someone experienced with small engine, Ag equipment and heavy equipment preferred. Brakes, transmission, hydraulics, welding and fabrication experience would be big a plus. Assist in the maintenance and upkeep all of farm equipment; tractors, sprayers, trucks, combines, pickups, etc. Help ordering parts and maintaining inventory of parts. Also help in the planning of how things will come through the shop in the off-season. Nice modern farm, providing an excellent opportunity.
