JOB TITLE: DIRECTOR, AGRONOMY OPERATIONS

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- 2- or 4-year Agronomy or Ag-related degree preferred
- Experience managing a profit center within an Agronomy organization including developing/implementing an annual marketing plan and developing an annual sales/promotion program
- 5 years or more of Agronomy Operations Management experience including procurement, inventory, safety, environmental/government compliance, equipment/facility maintenance and customer service
- Experience directing/managing/mentoring Agronomy operations personnel including hiring, training, performance reviews and firing
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting Employer in finding an experienced Agronomy Operations Manager looking to promote upwards to a Director of Agronomy Operations role. Primary responsibility will be to direct/promote/coordinate all agronomy-related operations in a manner that will optimize the market share and savings of Employer, will improve the efficiency of Employer and will help to achieve the mission and goals of Employer, all while achieving outstanding customer service. Additionally, this Director will have responsibilities including personnel supervision, marketing, profitability and sales, reporting, procurement, resale pricing, inventory, service, maintenance, environmental compliance and other duties as assigned by General Manager. This Director will also be called upon to mirror a positive attitude that promotes teamwork within the Agronomy division as well as throughout the organization and community. This Director will work closely with the Director of Agronomy Sales and Marketing and both will report directly to the General Manager.
