QUALIFICATIONS:

- Good animal health skills, daily care of cowherd
- Operating tractors, loader, skid steers, ATV\'s and other standard ranch equipment
- A.I. and heat check experience along with purebred cow/calf experience is a plus, but not required
- Handle routine maintenance and general repairs from fencing, to water sources, and equipment
- Good decision maker, communicator, team player, and good record keeper is essential
- College degree is a plus, but experience with a solid & verified work history is better

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Cow/calf experience in AI, heat checking and calving will be helpful, but willing to train. The person must be dependable, have good decision-making skills, be a self-starter and willing to assist in all areas of the operation. This is a purebred operation, so experience working with purebred cattle in a development yard, calving, and basic record keeping are pluses. Ideally, the employer would like to see someone who has 3-5+ years of working experience to bring some knowledge and upper skill set with them to this position. E.O.E. and wages are determined by experience, stability, and references.
