QUALIFICATIONS:

 

- Self-starter, highly motivated sales professional
- A passion for helping dairies continue to improve their operations’ success.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree plus a minimum of 5 years selling experience in animal agriculture preferred.
- Dairy knowledge/experience must be found within your education or your work history.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in Windows computer applications and the use of mobile devices.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an Ag Business in searching for a Channel Sales Manager. The Channel Sales Manager will assist dairies and nutritionists. Communicate key product benefits and build relationships with dairy producers, nutritionists, veterinarians and distributors and feed companies. Be part of a work environment that fosters a winning attitude through integrity, mutual respect, and teamwork. Will focus on providing valuable insights to research and dairy performance to enhance health and productivity of our dairy customers’ herds.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement a territory sales plan for meeting goals and objectives.
- Meet with dairy producers, nutritionists and other influencers to increase understanding and acceptance of the value of feeding the companies product line-up.
- Develop relationships with dairy producers, nutritionists, veterinarians, distributors, feed manufacturers and influencers through value added sales and support.
- Provide training and direction for distributor networks to improve product support through the supply chain.
- Provide feedback and insights to management about the local dairy industry, prospects, opportunities, and customers.
- Maintain and keep up to date all key territory information in Salesforce CRM.
