QUALIFICATIONS:

 

- BS degree or comparable with concentration in agriculture or related field
- 2 5 years of experience in agriculture production along with previous supervisory experience is needed
- Need to have previous Crop Management Experience, Sugar Beets would be a plus
- Team player with strong communication skills, independent, and trustworthy
- Ability to coordinate, direct activities, and provide mentorship
- Strong technical skills and SAP experience preferred
- Experience operating, loading, driving a loaded trailer
- Commercial Pesticide Consultant License or ability to obtain one within 6 months of hire
- Valid driver's license

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for an Agronomy Field Supervisor for an established seed company in the Pacific Northwest. Need someone who is a team player, a hard worker, and seeks to continue to develop and grow the companies' goals and forecasts. The main focus of this position is to manage sugarbeet seed fields producing pure, high yielding, and quality seed. Said employee will also maintain a working relationship with all seed growers that all expectations are met and understood & communicating within all contract agreements. Create and maintain field maps of all production, records in SAP and create reports required. You will be expected to follow and ensure to others the company handbook, roles, guidelines, and procedures, and safety policies are followed, and all PPE is used correctly. One will need to travel and drive on behalf of the business. Salary will depend upon experience, stability, and references. The location is very suitable for spouse to find work if desired. Great location for raising a family, with good schools and plenty of activities.
