ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
We have multiple storeperson roles to join the team to ensure the smooth operation of our wool handling facility based at Ravenhall.
Various working arrangements will be available including:
Permanent and fixed-term
Full-time and part-time
Morning, afternoon and night shift
The start date for this opportunity will be mid December 2023
Working at our purpose-built wool selling centre, we have multiple storeperson roles available to join the team at Ravenhall. These roles will contribute to the smooth operations of our facility by efficiently operating the testing machines and ensuring the safe movement of wool bales throughout the wool-handling facility. You will be working in a new, state-of-the-art facility with all the support and technology at your fingertips to ensure your success.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Supported by the Wool Operations Manager, you will:
Unloading and loading of trucks by forklift
Marking up of bales in preparation for testing
Ensure bales are labelled, recorded and branded accurately to ensure minimal errors
Help in the operation of the testing equipment
Adjusts over and under-weight bales as required
Marking up bales in preparation for shipping
Work collaboratively with other members
Additional wool store duties are part of this role to help deliver team outcomes
ABOUT YOU
To thrive in this role, you will have
Drivers and forklift licence
Experience loading and unloading trucks with a forklift
An understanding of warehouse storage and operations
The ability to learn and adapt in a team environment
Be a true team player with a can-do attitude
A safe work ethic is critical
Some basic computer skills
