About the role

We are looking for a Rural Products Support Officer to join the growing team on a permanent, full- time basis.

As the first point of contact for our branch, you'll deliver exceptional customer service, both in-person and over the phone. You will manage the end-to-end counter sales process for rural products, as well as provide administrational support to our other product sales staff.

Responsibilities

As a key member of the branch, you will enjoy a varied day including:
  • Assisting in the safe storage of rural products
  • Handling, receiving and dispatching of store stock
  • Performing rural products sales, both in store and over the phone, as well as general shed and yard duties
  • Assisting our sales team with administrative tasks, such as managing accounts payable, setting up new accounts, handling livestock processing, and supporting debt collection efforts.


About you

To excel at Elders, you:
  • Are committed to the provision of high-quality customer service;
  • Have an understanding of agriculture products and your clients' current and future needs, the region and our competitors;
  • Have demonstrated high-quality written and verbal communication and customer service skills, along with basic computer skills
  • Are able to work independently and have good time management skills;
  • Ideally have some previous sales and/or administration experience.
  • Have a driver's license. A Forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
